We've faced unexpected charges despite not actively doing anything, as we can easily check our activities against the timestamps on our invoices. We're currently with Proximus in Belgium, and thankfully they provide a comprehensive breakdown of all those text messages. Proximus has kindly refunded the amounts that were incorrectly billed since October 2015, or thereabouts. They claim it relates to “WhatsApp”, but we don’t even have the app installed on our phones! How baffling is that? I’m still digging for more answers on this perplexing issue.
