Whenever i switch off flight mode or change my SIM on my iPhone, I get a pop-up about iMessages and FaceTime. If you hit OK, it’ll try to charge you like it’s an international text message. Best thing is to press cancel to avoid any fees.

Really rubbish, not a fan of this at all.

We noticed we've been billed for stuff we never did, and we checked our actions against the times on the bills to be sure. We're with Proximus here in Belgium and get a full breakdown of those texts. Since at least October 2015, Proximus has actually refunded the charges that appeared. They blame it on "WhatsApp," but the funny thing is we don’t even have that app on our phones! So yeah, we're still trying to figure out what's going on.
