Got a call twice from Broadway studios with no caller ID. I answered the second time and the guy already knew my name and rattled off some people who supposedly 'recommended me'. Kept acting all surprised I didn’t know them. Totally a scam - best just to hang up straight away if you get a call from Broadway studios.

Got a call about a "free makeup and photoshoot" session - apparently my name and number were passed on by a couple of strangers I've never met. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t wear makeup and hate being photographed! From reading other replies here, it looks like they grab phone numbers from people’s contacts when they ask for a discount on whatever they're trying to push. Feels really intrusive and maybe against the law. Honestly, steer clear of these guys.

Some lady from Broadway Studios Wimbledon rang me on my mobile, number hidden, saying they got my contact from someone I don’t know. She claimed this person had done a photoshoot with them and thought I might want one as well. I told her I had no idea who this person was and I wasn’t interested. After a bit of digging and finding this page, I’ve found out they’re actually a scam and get phone numbers through dodgy means.

My partner just came back from the makeup studio. The makeup was a bit too heavy, and they spent around 45 minutes on her. The hair looks lovely, but the foundation feels really thick and a bit patchy, to be honest. The eye and lip makeup turned out well though. You can tell the artists were rushed, but since it was a free shoot, I'm quite happy with how it went, hoping the photographer can make the best of it or fix it in editing. Now we're just waiting on the next session.

Saw them trying to strong arm two girls into handing over all their contacts. They’ve got some app that grabs the whole list, offering a £1 discount for every contact. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

BROADWAY STUDIOS IS A TOTAL RIPOFF. DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING. They used my contacts without asking and started calling them trying to get me a small discount on photos, which they then practically forced me to buy. I kept telling them I didn’t have the cash since I’m just a teenager, but they still made me pay £30 every month and kept calling me about the money when I said I couldn’t pay.

Got a call from these folks - when I asked how they got my personal number, they said it was from someone I barely know who had it from work. I confronted her and asked why she shared it, and she said Broadway Studios made her hand over a list of phone contacts from her phone to get a discount. This has got to be illegal! I'm thinking about reporting them to the cops for breaching data protection laws.

Total scam. Got a call claiming two people I haven’t spoken to in ages, who aren’t even mates of mine anymore, had a makeover and photoshoot and supposedly recommended me to give it a go! Proper strange! When I mentioned this to the operator, she got all weird and said, “I’m just doing my job.” Don’t trust them. Feels like scammers pretending to be a legit London company. Came from a private number.

Im so glad I read all these posts about Broadway Studios, something felt off right from the start. Im a makeup artist and had a Skype interview lined up for tonight. They sent an email saying it was just a intro to meet them and see if the job was right for me. I sent my Skype info back but then got a message out of the blue saying sorry they didnt have time for the interview because work was running late (I had cleared my evening especially so this was annoying). Then they even asked me to come in tomorrow morning to do a free makeover - cheeky, isnt it?

Around a year back, I received a text offering a free makeover and photoshoot - same as what others got. Then they rang me up, claiming my mate Lauren (who I hadn’t spoken to in ages) had suggested I’d be great for a free photoshoot. When I told them I wasn’t bothered, they actually lost it and called me daft! Honestly, one of the most ridiculous scam calls I’ve ever had. If you want a bit of a laugh, answer it, but don’t get involved - it’s clearly dodgy. Just stumbled on this site today, which is why I’m only leaving a review now!

got a text from this number a few days ago and straight away thought it was a scam. then just now i got a call from an american woman using this same number, saying she was referred by my mate, actually called out someone i know. seemed kinda believable since that mate lives in london and works in that field. told her i'd need to check with my friend to see if it's legit and she just said ‘well, we got better stuff to be doing really. thanks, bye’. lol it’s mad how much info scammers can dig up these days.

I received a very similar message from this number a few days ago and immediately suspected it was a scam. Then, just a short while ago, I got a call from an American woman claiming that a pal of mine had recommended me - she even mentioned my friend's name! It didn’t seem too far-fetched, given that this mate of mine is based in London and works in a related field. I told her I’d need to check in with my friend first to gauge its authenticity, to which she curtly replied, “Well, we've got better things to do with our time, honestly. Cheers, bye.” It’s bonkers how much information these people can scoop up to pull off their tricks!
