I've noticed another number in play: 01246 570500, along with references like pat 2251287 and 2211357. Best not to engage with these! It’s clearly a scam. Blocking them completely is tricky; you can block the calls, but you'll still receive voicemails. They don't even bother having an actual conversation-if it were urgent, they'd persist until you picked up. Plus, they should at least address you by name instead of just starting with a vague "Hello". My advice? Just disregard it altogether; they'll eventually cease contacting you.

It’s absolutely ludicrous! I’ve been informed that I’ve defaulted on some sort of arrangement, which is quite baffling since I’ve never entered into any such agreement. To top it off, the correspondence was directed to a complete stranger’s name-someone I’ve never encountered in my life. It’s evidently some sort of con!

Got a message earlier today that read, 'I urgently need to chat about something crucial.' It appeared to be a scam, so I did a bit of digging on this site and, lo and behold, it’s indeed a scam! Cheers for the warning - I won’t be making that call.
