Got a call supposedly from NatWest about some dodgy activity on my card saying it had been blocked. I missed the call at first, then I got an email telling me I'd get a text from that number. Sure enough, the text arrived with the details of the transactions. It showed one attempted payment today for £0.00 that was declined and two from yesterday. Thing is, I haven’t used the card at all today. They also left a voicemail asking me to get in touch.

Beware of scams pretending to be from NatWest about credit card protection. I got a call and they tried to convince me it was urgent to protect my card. Don’t fall for it! Always check directly with NatWest if you get anything suspicious.
