Today I got a call from this number, some bloke pretending to be from HMRC. He said I’m about to be charged with tax evasion and asked me to pay immediately. That’s definitely not how HMRC operates, so I knew it was a scam.

Got a dodgy call pretending to be from HMRC, saying I was gonna get arrested for some unpaid taxes. They told me to press 1 to talk to the case officer straight away. Total scam.
