They keep ringing from a mobile I don’t recognise. Normally I just ignore, but I was waiting for a call from someone unknown. The lady on the line spoke with a strong Indian accent and wanted to talk to a specific person. After a bit, I realised the name she said (though not said properly) was actually my dad’s! I’m trying hard to figure out if I gave my number to someone while out with him, cos he might have forgotten to share his own. When I figure it out, I’ll update here.

Got a call from a woman with an accent, said she was from Bristol or maybe Vostol, not really sure. She wanted to ask me five quick questions but I told her I was busy. She kept insisting it’d be quick but I just said no and hung up. They tried ringing me again a couple hours later the same day, but I ignored it.

Really annoying, keeps ringing. I wrote a comment yesterday and then blocked the number, but it popped up again today. There was a symbol next to it in the "call history" but my phone didn’t ring. I suppose that means it’s properly blocked now, cos I’ve never had blocked calls actually ring before. Didn’t know the number would still show in the list though. Fingers crossed they get bored and stop soon!!

They rang really early and disturbed my sleep, I didnt know the number so I just ignored it. I always look up unknown numbers on this site first, so if it’s something worth my time I’ll get back to them, but if it’s just a bother like this one, I block it straight away. It’s super annoying anytime but especially when they wake you up out of nowhere!!

Never pick up calls from unknown mobile numbers, it’s usually dodgy and they’re tryna get your info to break into your accounts. Just block the number right away, they’ll get the hint quick enough.

To those saying they never did any surveys or stuff like that, every time you join an online contest or giveaway, those companies often pass your details to other businesses. I’m pretty sure they nabbed your name, address and phone number from some competition you took part in.

They were only looking for straightforward yes or no responses.
