So I got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying there was tax fraud under my name and that if I didn’t pick up, I’d get arrested or something. Total joke!

So this life assurance firm called me and seemed to already know which company I had my policy with. Once I figured out it was just another cold call trying to sell me something, I nicely thanked Karyl for the call and then ended it.

I picked up and they just disconnected straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a doctor, asking why I missed an appointment. I had no clue what he was rambling on about, so I told him he’d got the wrong number. He said sorry and hung up after that.

i picked up and they just dropped the call right away, makes me wonder what the point is?
