They never bothered saying who they were. They actually called me by my Facebook name, which isn’t my real one. It seems like they grab your info from Facebook to seem genuine, so watch out!

Got a call from some telemarketer, wasn't really sure who she said she was from. It wasn’t too bad, lasted about 6 minutes, just a bunch of questions about who my mobile provider is and if they could reach me with offers. Then she asked about my energy supplier, mortgage company, life insurance, and even pet insurance. I just said no to everything. The woman on the phone was quite polite though.

I got a call from a woman saying she was from my life insurance because of some changes they need to make due to covid. She mentioned someone had rung me recently but couldn't provide any specifics about my policy. Something felt off, so I reckon it was a scam and I ended the call straight away.

it's pretty alarming that they have all my details like name, address and postcode. i warned her i'd be reporting it to the police this time and she just cut me off. seriously, there should be stricter actions against these calls, especially protecting people who might be more easily upset by it.
