Another one of those dodgy calls again, this time they actually knew my name. I’ve been getting loads of random calls like this lately, it’s been a right pain. Thankfully, my missus spotted straight away it wasn’t anyone she knew and didn’t let it get through. After a couple of firm nos, they finally gave up and hung up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a third party insurer, saying there’d been an accident and they’d be sorting payment. They managed to get the date right but everything else was way off. Wouldn’t say who they were, just kept repeating they’d got my info from the insurers. The call centre was super loud and the person on the phone was pretty pushy. I reckon some folks probably get tricked by this and might hand over their bank info without thinking.

When I picked up the phone, I didn’t say anything right away and could hear loads of noise like a call centre in the background. A woman then asked for me by name and said she was from some accident management support programme. I told her they’re nothing but scammers and that I’m fed up with their calls, so I’d be blocking the number straight away. Then I hung up.

I keep getting calls and texts all day, from early morning right through till around 9pm, and they're always for someone I don't even know, about a phone that's supposedly lost.

They ring me almost every day around lunchtime. Nobody ever says anything, and then they just end the call. It's really irritating and such a hassle. Someone really needs to put an end to this.

A lady rang me earlier from a charity wanting to see if I’d be interested in donating. We ended up having a lovely chat and I agreed to help out. I’m glad it wasn’t one of those dodgy calls like I usually get all the time. It was actually a nice experience.
