Today, I received a rather unsettling phone call from a lady speaking with a strong Asian accent. Her manner was aggressive as she proceeded to accuse me of tax evasion, claiming that HMRC would be taking legal action against me. To cap it all off, she then suggested I 'settle my debts'. It's quite alarming, really, as this is a notorious scam that's been doing the rounds.
