Got a text from this number saying someone called Jamie tried to drop off a parcel but nobody was home. They didn’t give any tracking info or proper details, just a dodgy email that looked like it was from some delivery company. The email was: local-depot27.com. Would be great if folks could help out by signing this address up to loads of spam and newsletters to flood their inbox. Maybe if they get buried in junk, it could stop them scamming others.

Watch out, this is a complete con! The post office will usually drop a card through if they try to deliver something, and they would never ask for your bank info. Stay sharp!!

cheers for the tip i saw below, I sent the dodgy text and the number it came from to 7726. it really does make a difference and keeps everyone safer. just google action fraud, then click the one from police.uk. if your phone company isn’t in on this, you can just email them a pic of the message. honestly, it’s dead simple and worth doing.

Just a couple of comments below this one give more details about these nasty scams. We keep receving these dodgy calls and messages because sadly, some folks who are more vunerable get tricked and end up helping these criminals live off untaxed cash. Plus, we get loads of these nuisance calls since hardly anyone takes the time to report them. The police and other agencies really don’t know how widespread this is. Please, do your bit and report every suspicious call or text. It only takes a moment, no harder than dropping a comment here.
