I received a message stating that a parcel couldn't be delivered because we weren’t in. Funny that, considering there were five of us at home, plus our rather excitable canine. That dog of ours doesn’t miss a trick; he'd sound the alarm for even the faintest rustle of a leaf! So I’m confident we would have noticed any delivery attempt. Got a message from someone called Jamie about dropping off a parcel today, with a link to set up a new delivery time. Just a heads up, don’t click on that or try to change anything - it’s a scam. The Post Office never gives you a contact name or phone number and they always pop a card through your door if you miss a delivery. So this is definitely dodgy.

I received what I thought was a genuine notification about a missed delivery from the post office, but it turned out to be a complete ruse. They requested all sorts of personal information - my debit card details, date of birth, mobile number, address, and email. They even attempted to levy a fee of £1.30 for redelivery! Please be wary of this. I made sure to input nothing but incorrect information, yet their system still responded with “1 item found!” - it’s clearly a scam. It might seem convincing at first glance, but don’t be fooled; it’s far from genuine!

Jamie seems to be swamped with more packages than Santa does on Christmas night. Lucky for us, the guy in the red suit with the snowy beard definitely has a knack for dropping off surprise presents better than Jamie does. Still, if we're honest, Santa's way more genuine than Jamie! Anyhow, this phone number and the scam linked to it are no different from others like it, and if you want to put a dent in these scams, you really should report them.
