Got a text from 07529674240 about a parcel delivery, saying I needed to reschedule by clicking a link. Definitely a scam to watch out for!

Hello there! I made a bit of a blunder while I was in hospital. I mistakenly assumed I had received a present from someone. Now I'm left wondering if they might have access to my bank account. Any insights would be really appreciated! Cheers! 😊

Got a text saying someone named Jamie attempted to drop off a parcel. It had a link to click if you wanted them to try delivering it again. Seems a bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a message saying someone called Jamie came by to drop off a parcel today, but apparently no one was home. They want you to book a new delivery date here: https://local-depot27.com but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t click on it!

Honestly, Jamie must believe folks are pretty gullible to get caught by that parcel trick. I just blocked the number and reported it to a fraud watchdog site - maybe next time, Jamie’ll be the one waiting on a dodgy delivery!

Honestly, don’t pick up if a call comes from a DPD number - total scam! They’ll try to get all your info and definitely want your credit card details, so just hang up straight away. Stay safe, people!

Got a text super early, like 4:29 am, saying a Jamie had tried dropping off a parcel but no one was home. Thing is, someone was around all day so that was weird. Plus, the message had a phone number which just felt dodgy. The only parcel I was waiting for actually arrived yesterday. Pretty clear it was a scam, so I blocked the number and let the proper people know about it.

Somebody called Jamie made a delivery attempt way outside normal hours, which felt a bit off. They also sent a link to a dodgy website where you’re supposed to enter all sorts of bogus info, probably just to mess up their system or something. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

I received a text from 07529674240, claiming there was an issue with a parcel delivery. The trouble is, I'm not waiting for any parcel, so I’ll be steering well clear of that link in the message. Sounds a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

Is Jamie the one doing the night deliveries? Seems like he's all over the UK pretty quick. Got my second early morning message from him in just a few weeks.

Just had a near miss with a dodgy parcel delivery scam. My mum, bless her, clicked on a link that asked for her address, date of birth, and mobile number. It then tried to extract £1.20 for delivery details, which seemed harmless at first! But then it struck me - why on earth would they need her phone number when they’ve just texted her? I quickly intervened before she handed over her bank info and decided to check the number online. I really hope she’s not in any trouble now that they have her name, address, and phone number! It’s absolutely deplorable how these heartless scammers target the elderly, who are often far too trusting and unaware of the wickedness lurking out there…

Got a message saying: "The postie, Jamie, made an attempt to drop off your parcel earlier today, but alas, no one was home. Do set up a new delivery date at your earliest convenience via the following link..." It then leads to the post office for redirecting the parcel, requesting credit card info for a £1.50 fee for the redelivery? Honestly, who messages at half past midnight claiming they tried to deliver something? I've checked my security cameras, and there was absolutely no delivery attempt at all!

I’ve had a message too, much like the ones mentioned earlier, stating that they attempted to deliver a package at 7 o'clock in the morning. Turns out, it was a complete fabrication.

Received a text at 3 in the morning claiming I've missed a delivery. The thing is, I haven't ordered anything, so I'd reckon it’s a scam. The message included a link to a dodgy post office website.

Received a message at 12:33 AM from PO: “Jamie attempted to drop off your parcel earlier, but there was no one at home. Kindly arrange for a new delivery date via: ....” This is a scam! They’re trying to trick you into paying £1.50 to a bogus Post Office link, and once they’ve got your details, they’ll wipe out your bank account. Best to disregard this message and make sure to block their number immediately. Stay safe!

Got a message from Jamie saying they tried to deliver something, asking me to click a link. Total scam. We have a Ring doorbell and there was no sign anyone tried to deliver anything at all. If it was legit, we’d have noticed for sure.

Jamie must feel like he’s got more parcels to drop off than Father Christmas himself on Christmas night! Luckily, the guy in the red suit with his snowy beard is way better at sneaking presents to doorsteps than Jamie ever could be. But, honestly, Father Christmas is way more legit than poor Jamie. If you come across this number or the scam behind it, make sure to report it - it’s the only way to put a stop to these dodgy calls. You can find the info on how to do it in the two posts below.

Got a message really early, like 5.34 am, saying “PO: Jamie attempted to leave your parcel but no one answered. Reschedule your delivery here: https://local-depot27.com”. I really doubt anyone knocks on doors that dawn, and I would have definitely heard it if they did! Seems obvious this is a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Post Office saying they missed me on a Sunday and wanted to drop off a parcel again. But I know the Post Office doesn’t do delivery, and Royal Mail never delivers on Sundays. They asked for my bank details to pay a £1.20 "fee" for redelivery, which is odd because usually there's no charge at all. Felt a bit fishy to me.
