Earlier comments here have explained how to notify the proper officials about these scams. The reason we’re still bombarded by calls and texts like this is partly because some people, maybe more trusting or less aware, get caught out, handing these crooks easy, untaxed cash. Another big reason is that most of us don’t bother telling anyone when this happens. The police aren’t fully aware of how widespread this is. So please, do your part and report every one of these scams. It won’t take much longer than writing a quick message on here.
