I received a rather suspicious attempt at package delivery from someone named Jamie. Just a couple of days prior, I was plagued by yet another Royal Mail scam, which I promptly reported. I've since blocked this number as well. It appears that all these scams are connected in some way, leading to a depot and subsequently to a fraudulent Post Office website where they push for personal information. Typically, the Post Office just requests a tracking number and postcode, but this one is asking for additional details. Definitely a scam!

They asked me to enter personal info but I got suspicious when they mentioned a postage fee and asked for my card details. The NHS logo looked legit though, so it was a proper dodgy scam. I stopped right there!

Got a text supposedly from NHS Test & Trace telling me to click a link to order a PCR test. Thought it was dodgy so I sent it over to 7726 for Action Fraud to check.

Got a message saying I needed a PCR test, felt fishy so I just blocked the number and deleted the message. Probably a scam.

Got a message from 07529674151 saying they were from the NHS, telling me I’d been near someone with Covid according to Track & Trace. I went ahead and filled out the form, but then they asked for my card info to cover postage for the test kit. That’s when I realised something wasn’t right and it must be a scam. Lucky I stopped and didn’t enter any payment details. Just a heads up, this is a dodgy trick trying to empty your bank account.

Just got a message from 44 7529674151 claiming I’d been near someone with Covid-19. Heads up, this looks like a scam since test and trace ended back on 22nd February. Don’t fall for it!

I got a message from this number claiming that I’ve come into contact with someone who’s tested positive for COVID-19. They urged me to order a PCR test kit through a link they provided, but they insisted on my bank details to cover the postage fees. To my knowledge, the latest guidance suggests that testing is not mandatory anymore. Quite concerning, really!

I got a text from +44 7529 674151 saying "NHS-UK: Test & Trace has info that you were near someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Please get a PCR test kit here: https://mypcr-kit[.]web[.]app". Thing is, I’ve not stepped outside my home in ages apart from the odd postman or delivery person popping by. Feels like this is probably a smishing scam to me...
