Received a message supposedly from My EE saying my direct debit hadn't gone through. It included a link with "debit-renewal" in it. Thing is, I don't even have an EE account, so it’s obvious it’s dodgy. Plenty of others have reported the same on Who-called-me. Definitely worth steering well clear of this one!

Is there genuinely going to be any impact from this? What network are these scammers using, anyway?

Perhaps I should just hop online 🤭 and grant YOU permission to hassle me with those questionable third-party cookies from your partners 🤔

It’s been a fortnight, and you’ve not even started putting a stop to these con artists?

Or is that a bit harsh of me to say? 🤔

Received a text message that read: APPLE: Your Apple Pay has been disabled on this device. To restore access, please go to the link promptly: submit-wallet ... Regrettably, I bit the bullet, given I've just had to get Apple Pay up and running again on my phone, so I thought it was all above board. I clicked on the link and filled out what seemed like an authentic Apple form, including my banking details. Almost instantly, I got a message from my bank inquiring if I had made a transaction at Greene King. They swiftly cancelled my card. I do feel a bit daft for falling for it, but I’m relieved no major harm was done in the end.
