07518781445 called me with an automated message saying my BT internet and phone line would be cut off if I didn’t press 1. I’ve had loads of these calls but my connection never gets stopped. It’s just a scam trying to make you press 1 so they can charge you through the roof with premium rates. Just like I did, best thing is to ignore it and hang up straight away.

Got a call from this number, the bloke knew my full name so I asked what it was about. He said it wasn't a sales call and mentioned something about loans or debts I apparently had. I told him I didn't and he must've dialled the wrong number. He denied it, and when I said no again, he just hung up. I've since blocked the number.

Honestly, one of the most unpleasant people I've talked to by phone. They rang me saying I had some unpaid debt they needed to discuss, but when I asked who the debt was supposedly with, the person just snapped back "You tell me". I found it strange since they were the ones who called claiming to know about it. After that, their attitude got really harsh and pushy. I've blocked the number now and reported it to the ICO so they can check what's going on!

Got a call again from a woman with an Asian accent, this was the second time about some "unsecured debt". She said she was with Citizens Advice, but knowing they don’t just ring outta the blue, I questioned her again and she hung up on me AGAIN. Now she’s blocked for good! Proper rude bloke, really pushy. Kept saying I owed money and had to pay up immediately. Was going on about some government scheme or something. Reckoned I owed more than £2000 to some company. Asked him who exactly that was. Said he was passed on to them or summat. Asked who referred him, and then he just accused me of ignoring him. Told him I wasn’t bothered by his “help”. Gonna mess about a bit if he rings again! ??

Just like loads of others, it seems like they were trying to trick me into giving out debt details. When I asked who they were calling on behalf of, they just hung up straight away. Lucky for me, my Samsung phone lets me block numbers so I’ve gone ahead and done that. I’m signed up to the TPS, but since these con artists don’t actually say a real company name, it’s impossible to report them properly.

A man with an Indian accent called me saying I had unsecured debt. The only thing I owe is my student loan, so I knew something wasnt right. They've called me twice already in the last couple of days. He did know my first name and said they’d write off up to 75% of my debt. Honestly, if I owed anything, Id have had an official letter by now. Just block and ignore this number! If you do owe money, the company would be the first to contact you for sure. They called me from the same number ending in 88.
