They said they were with consumer advice, but their accent was so thick I could barely get what they were saying. I asked if I could talk to someone who spoke English properly and also wanted to know which company they represented. Then they just cut the call.

On the 30th April 2026, this number called me a couple of times. The call quality was awful, I barely caught a word out of three. There was someone with a foreign accent trying to urgently get me on the line by using my full name. I kept demanding to know who was calling but then they just ended the call. Quite annoying, really.

The call kicked off with them chatting about Covid jabs, saying how important it is to be up to date and all that. I just kept replying with “yes, thank you, I’m fine”. Then they switched to talking about some kind of insurance or coverage, but I wasn’t really paying attention and just repeated “yes, thank you” again. After a bit, they sounded a bit frustrated and asked which provider I had for overseas cover or something like that. I just said everything’s sorted, thanks, and ended the call. Now I’ve gone and blocked the number.
