Got a call from a woman with a really heavy Indian accent, said her name was "Millie" and she was calling from the "UK Health Association". She asked about my Covid jab status and when I didn’t answer she tried asking about my life insurance instead. After I kept shutting her down and didn’t share any info, she just hung up. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Some bloke with an Indian accent called, claiming he was from the BMA. When I asked how he got my number, he just said, a bit muddled, that it was from the BMA. I told him I wasn’t interested in sharing any info and told him to jog on.

Loads of scammy calls from an Indian call centre pinging me over 10 times a day (last one was literally 5 mins ago!) using different dodgy mobile numbers. They pretend to be from Public Health, debt help, COVID support, and all sorts. I reckon they got my info from a payday loan I did last week as the calls started straight away. Dunno how anyone falls for this nonsense, but I guess they don’t care what they get paid as long as it’s something. Thankfully my phone auto-blocks them since they’re flagged as spam, so these muppets ain’t getting through to me.

Woman with a thick Asian accent said she was ringing from the BMA - British Medical Association - to check if I’d received all my vaccinations and if I’d experienced any side effects, also asking if I had any feedback about my GP or hospital treatment. Then she just went on to assume I had full life cover and health insurance sorted! I told her the BMA doesn’t deal with commercial stuff, but she insisted they did. I told her I wasn’t buying it and hung up!

This one 07476540553 rang me right after I blocked 07532832106, which is another spam caller. They basically said the same rubbish as the first number, and weirdly, both seemed to know the exact Direct Debit amount I pay for insurance? But since they both kept mentioning the wrong insurance firm (Co-op Insurance), I’m pretty sure they’re from the same dodgy call centre. Both numbers are linked to Hutchison 3G UK Ltd.

Someone rang asking if I’d had my COVID vaccine. Told them I got mine at home back in October and then they tried offering me another a few weeks after. I assumed it was just some NHS confusion, but then he started going on about insurance. Ended the call when I joked he should try working on the shelves at Aldi instead! 🤣
