Got a call from GPS - Green Power Solutions, saying they wanted to do a free check-up on the solar panels and the EMS system on my roof. They claimed the installer covers this as part of the package and that it’s done every few years anyway. They also tried to convince me they could help me get out of my 'Barclays' loan, which was total rubbish, and even suggested adding an off-grid battery to store electricity. First, a bloke called, then a woman rang after. I double-checked with the company that did the installation between those calls, and they told me straight up it was a scam.
