I received a call from a bloke looking for a lady in the house. When I confirmed it was indeed the right place and offered assistance, he kept insisting on speaking to Miss ****. I replied in my low, masculine voice, "Well, that's clearly not me!" His reaction was baffling; he claimed he couldn't handle sarcasm and threw in a few rather unpleasant remarks before ending the call rather abruptly. His manner was quite off, and I'm rather relieved I was there to look out for the elderly lady. Quite the peculiar approach he had if he was aiming to sell something, don't you think?

a bloke rang asking if miss #### was home. i told him he had the right place and asked what he needed. he kept insisting, "is this miss ####?" so i answered in a deep voice, "defo not." he snapped back, "i don’t do sarcasm," then just hung up. sounded quite rude and unpleasant. luckily i picked up and saved an older lady from dealing with him. bit odd if he was trying to sell anything, that attitude put me off straight away!
