He then started asking if I owned or rented my place, and when I asked why, he kept assuring me he wouldn’t call back once I answered. I told him since he seemed to know everything already, he could check for himself if I owned the place or not. That’s when he just hung up. Oddly enough, he called back an hour later, despite saying he wouldn’t call again. I’m certain it’s a scam, but honestly, it’s kind of satisfying to give these characters a good telling off - a luxury I don’t often get with my job’s clients!

I told him he was clearly trying to sell, gave him a polite thanks and ended the call. Then, like 15 minutes later, a call came through from a number almost the same, so I just ignored it.

Right after that, I got another call from a Blackburn area code which has been constantly buzzing me multiple times every day, and that one’s blocked too. I’m actually really curious about who’s breaking GDPR rules and handing over our info to these nuisances. I got a call from some rude bloke who kept asking really personal stuff. When I said no, he started shouting all sorts of horrible names at me like motherf****r and calling me a prostitute. He even threw in something about my mum and said he’d ring me every day. Then he kept going on, calling me a bastard and stuff for like five minutes non-stop. Proper nasty caller.
