I just ignored the call and ended up blocking that number.

I received a rather dubious call from this number, a chap with a foreign accent who introduced himself as "Tom" - rather suspect if you ask me! He seemed to possess my full name, address, and home phone number, and was keen for me to confirm it all. When I probed him about his intentions, he insisted he wasn’t selling anything, claiming to be from UK Choice and that he just needed twenty seconds of my time, promising he wouldn’t trouble me again afterwards. He proceeded to inquire whether I owned my home or rented, which I found rather intrusive, and I quizzed him on the reason for his interest. He kept insisting that answering his queries meant I wouldn’t hear from him again. In the end, I challenged him, saying that if he was so well-informed about me, he should be able to verify my property status without me spilling the beans. That’s when he abruptly hung up. Curiously enough, the same number rang through again about an hour later, despite his earlier claim that I wouldn’t hear from him again! While I firmly believe this is a scam, I must admit, it’s quite satisfying to let loose and give these characters a verbal tongue-lashing - something I can’t exactly do with clients in my line of work!

This number rang me but never left a voicemail. I’m not planning on calling back, so I’ve just blocked it.

I received a call from a woman who seemed to know my surname and claimed she was calling from the UK. To be frank, I find it rather odd that a legitimate business would use a mobile number for such purposes. After our brief chat, I decided to hang up, only to have them ring me back a mere five minutes later. I've since blocked the number. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Came across as rather aggressive. They were aware of my name and mentioned an address I haven't lived at in ages. Their attitude became even more irritable when I attempted to engage in conversation. I called them out as a fraudster.

This week alone, I've gotten about five calls from some company wanting to do a survey. I asked them to take me off their list and stop ringing me, but they just refused and then cut me off. I think they mentioned their name was something like United UK or something similar?

I received a call from a chap who had an Asian accent claiming to be from an organisation called "Choice UK" or something similar. He bizarrely pronounced my name completely wrong and then proceeded to fire a barrage of questions my way. I made it quite clear that I wasn’t keen and requested they remove me from their calling list. After I ended the call, not even ten minutes had gone by before I was rung up again, this time by an Asian lady from the same company, using a different number (02045750194), and she was regurgitating the exact same pitch. Quite frustrating, really!

Some bloke called me saying he wasn't trying to sell anything, but asked if I had half a minute to check out some kind of household thing - couldn't really catch what he was on about. I told him he was clearly trying to sell, gave him a polite thanks and ended the call. Then, like 15 minutes later, a call came through from a number almost the same, so I just ignored it.

Right after that, I got another call from a Blackburn area code which has been constantly buzzing me multiple times every day, and that one’s blocked too. I’m actually really curious about who’s breaking GDPR rules and handing over our info to these nuisances. It’s super frustrating when you’re expecting important calls but can’t get them 'cos the line’s clogged with these mugs. Waiting for their next ring now, and I’ve got a loud whistle ready to make them think twice!
