They keep ringing from various mobile numbers. Happened earlier too, turned out to be some scam pretending to be Amazon Prime. I've just blocked them now.

Some woman rang claiming to be from British National something or other, said she needed to ask me three questions to verify my info. Funny enough, they got my address wrong but I just kept quiet and didn’t carry on with the call. Since then, I’ve had about three more calls today, but from different mobile numbers. I’d say best just don’t pick up if this pops up!

Today, this number rang me two times. The first time, I picked up because I was waiting for a call from someone at Cats Protection, so I wasn’t sure if it was them. I could hear some background noise, but nothing clear. I said hello a few times but got no reply. Then the person said something I couldn’t quite catch and just ended the call. About 10 minutes later, they rang again.

Proper muppet this one was, just hung up on me after I joked that his mum’s so huge her blood type must be fizzy pop. Can’t be ringing people from Liverpool tryin’ to mess about with them, it’s a waste of time. Better luck next time, you lot!

A chap managed to obtain my phone number and address, saying he was from some outfit called United something or other. He asked if he could take 20 seconds of my time for a few questions. I obliged and answered his first query, but he clearly didn't like my response. He called me rude, then abruptly ended the call! The conversation lasted over a minute, so I do worry that it might lead to something.

I’m convinced this is a dodgy call centre from India that pulls off all sorts of scams. You might hear someone called 'Sam' pretending to know your name and where you live, asking you to take part in some local survey. Best advice? Don’t say a word or confirm any details at all.

I received a call from someone named 'Sam' who had a notably strong Indian accent. He kicked off the conversation with my name and even my postcode, which put me on high alert. When I probed a bit and asked for his details, he simply repeated, 'I told you, I'm Sam.' Well, that just didn’t cut it for me! I made it crystal clear that his response wasn't satisfactory. He insisted that he merely wished to ask me a few questions and claimed he wasn't trying to sell anything. Well, as luck would have it, I’m not in the market for answering queries from anyone, so I bid him farewell - take care, Sam from Karachi!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon Prime, asking for my card info. No way am I falling for that! Seriously, people, watch out and stay safe. How can scammers even live with themselves? They should try getting a real job and work hard like the rest of us instead of trying to steal from others.

That was a rather odd encounter with a gentleman of Indian descent. He greeted me with a cheerful "hello" and then went on to share an extraordinary detail-he admitted to donning his wife's knickers. I can’t quite fathom why he deemed it necessary to divulge such a personal tidbit to me. Consequently, I've taken the liberty of blocking his number just in case he decides to ring again, perhaps to elaborate on his curious proclivities or, heaven forbid, unveil other similarly unsettling quirks.

I picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence. After I said hello a couple of times, someone finally talked. Turns out it was a cold call, claiming to be from some debt help service. Not buying it - I hung up and blocked the number right away.

I received a call from someone with a pronounced Indian accent, identifying themselves as being British. To my dismay, they attempted to ring me back twice from different numbers, but I chose to hang up on those as well.

The caller identified himself as "Samuel," claiming to be working for a company called British National. He asked if I could spare a moment to answer a few questions. Strangely enough, he already knew my name and insisted he wasn't trying to sell me anything. I firmly requested that he take my number off his list, and then he just cut the call. Quite the peculiar encounter!

They ring you from one of these on a daily basis! It’s as if they’ve stumbled upon a treasure trove of SIM cards, eh? Thankfully, there are marvellous apps out there that can block pesky unknown callers. They're an absolute game changer!
