I got a call from 07456239858 claiming to be from Amazon. They said they needed to help me change my password and asked me for a 6-digit code, which I think is the code you get to verify password updates. Definitely a scam, watch out for these dodgy scammers!

07451 285448 - This number wouldn’t leave me alone yesterday, Saturday 23rd December. I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers, so I shot them a text saying, “Please drop me a message.” No response came through. Then, bright and early the next day at 8:54 am, they rang again. Assuming it might be someone I knew with a new number, I took the plunge and answered. Turns out, the caller was from India, touting an online job opportunity. I probed him about the company, but his response was rather vague; he mentioned “HR recruitment” and suggested I could find info about it on Google. I inquired about how he came by my number, and he claimed that the company had sourced a database containing UK mobile numbers. He proceeded to outline an “easy job” that required no qualifications, insisting that someone would reach out via WhatsApp to provide digital training. That’s about all I can contribute to this discussion for the moment.

I’ve had a rather unpleasant experience with this number. It appears to be a scammer, so I would recommend steering clear of it and blocking it immediately. They decided to ring me at the unearthly hour of 8 AM on a Sunday, and to my surprise, I could eavesdrop on the chap's conversation with someone else. He was conversing in an Indian dialect, which only heightened my suspicions. I've seen others flag this number as dodgy, and I can certainly vouch that their warnings hold true-definitely a scam operation!

In the last 48 hours, I've received three calls from a chap with a distinct Indian accent, although he claimed to have a name that seemed rather contrived. To top it off, he greeted me with "good afternoon" when it was barely past 8:45 in the morning - that's a rather clear sign this call was coming from India!

He was touting a remote digital position that supposedly pays £60 an hour for a mere two hours of work each day. I work in the IT sector, and the scant information he provided about the job didn’t fit my skill set at all.

Curious to see how far he'd take it, I played along. He merely wanted to verify my age bracket and if I used the same number for WhatsApp. He mentioned that someone named Amy would reach out to me via WhatsApp within the next day. I’ll keep you updated on what happens next!

This number keeps popping up, so I figured it was probably a scam. My phone's smart call feature labelled it as likely spam. I've gotten dodgy calls from Tismi bv in the past too. It's blocked now.

Got a call from a guy with a pretty strong Indian accent, his English was a bit off. He claimed to be from some recruitment agency, trying to offer remote work for about 2 hours a day. Honestly, felt a bit odd, like something was off about the whole thing.
