Honestly, they were quite impolite and just hung up on me. Definitely seemed like a scam.

so this number claimed to be from honeywell, saying they were just nearby and needed to inspect my cavity wall insulation. i told them straight away that loads of scam people have used that same line before, trying to check my cavity wall insulation, and ive turned them all down. typical scam if you ask me.

I got a call from 07443272388, the person said they were from Reading and working with County, linked to Green Home Development, which apparently has backing from Honeywell. They mentioned wanting to do a survey on our loft and wall insulation. The caller gave an Irish sounding name, Jose Klogh. They said they’d send some details through, so I'll wait to see what arrives.

Got a call asking for a Mrs Reeder living at 1 Whitehouse Cottages? That’s not me or anywhere near my address. The whole thing felt dodgy and as soon as I started being a bit wary, the bloke just hung up.

He claimed to be with some carbon emissions reduction programme, but I cut him off straight away and told him exactly where to shove it. Totally a scam, no doubt.

Just got a call about checking my roof insulation. They threw out a name and an address that were spot on, which made me suspicious straight away. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
