Got a call from 07443272378, some bloke called Alex from County something. When I said no to giving out my info, he started getting all rude and cheeky. In the end, I just had to tell him where to go before I ended the call.

Got a cold call about some loft insulation grant or something, and when I said no thanks, the caller started getting a bit pushy and rude.

I saw the number 07443272378 pop up but didn’t pick up as I didn’t know who it was. Left a message on my answerphone but all I got was the noise of the call being cut off. Looks like it might have been some sort of scam call.

Today I had a missed call since I was outside in the garden and didn’t pick up. Judging by the feedback here, it’s probably about home improvements. I usually tell them the property’s a rental to get them off the line.

Some bloke rang me claiming I’d registered for a government scheme to get loft insulation, but apparently it’s ended now. He said they'd send someone round to measure the loft and because of my age, I might get a discount. The visitor would take around 20 minutes to look out for damp or mould, and all they wanted was a cuppa and a biscuit. He wanted to book a time for tomorrow, but I told him I wouldn’t be in. Then he asked if my partner and I owned the house. When I said no, he just said the deal’s only for homeowners and apologised for bothering me.

I keep getting calls from people selling home improvement stuff, it's so annoying. Why do these cold callers keep getting through? They just go after older people who are more easy to fool. Wish there was a way to block them for good.

Had some insulation people come by for a quote, and they kept asking if I was the homeowner and if I was between 60 and 70 years old. I didn’t tell them my age or confirm I owned the place, just to keep them guessing.

Got a call from 07443272378, didn’t have a clue who it was. It was a woman talking about insulation and mentioned checking if the stuff already installed is working properly. She said she wasn’t trying to sell anything. There was something about a grant to maybe help with the cost, but I cut her off before she could explain more!
