9 monthsGot a call from this number out of nowhere. It was one of those automated messages saying they’d gotten my CV or something. I’m not even job hunting or sent my CV anywhere, so that was weird. It said I’d supposedly added a new payee on my internet banking and wanted me to click a link to confirm or dispute it. I hadn’t set up any new payees, so it felt fishy. I didn’t click the link, it just seemed like a scam or phishing attempt. My phone flagged it as possible spam and offered an option to report it to Google, which I went ahead and did. That also blocked the number on my phone.
