6 yearsOn Tuesday 7th July 2020 at about 11.24am, my landline rang and I got a recorded message in crisp English with posh accent, saying it was HMRC and warning me about some dodgy transaction, implying I was in serious trouble. Then, barely a minute later, at 11.25, the same voice called my mobile from a UK number - 01204 077318, which I think is a Bolton area code.
