I got a message at half-past one in the morning claiming they’d attempted to drop off my parcel from the post office today, complete with a link to follow. The time itself was the first red flag that raised my suspicions. I decided to ring the number back, and it went straight to an O2 voicemail, which made it sound quite personal. That was my second warning sign. I opted not to click on that link, just to be safe.

I received a dodgy text from this number, claiming I've been in touch with someone who had the omicron variant and that I ought to buy a COVID test. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
