I've received a text claiming that I’ve been in touch with someone who tested positive for Omicron, which means I ought to get a test kit. Just a heads up, the NHS doesn’t send out such messages, so it’s clearly a con!

Got loads of texts from different numbers all with dodgy links, all saying they’re from Royal Mail. Definitely a scam, don’t click on anything!

Got a call claiming to be from NHS Test and Trace saying I’d been near someone with the virus and needed to order a test through a link they gave me. Obviously a scam. I just blocked the number and reported it straight away.

My 12 year old got a text saying they were in contact with someone with omicron, but it seemed totally dodgy! Definitely looked like a scam to me. So glad I checked before them clicking anything.
