They didnt ring me but sent a txt saying id been close to someone with Omicron, which I reckon is dodgy. The NHS app is supposed to alert you if you’ve been near a positive case, so this message seems fishy to me.

Got a text claiming it’s from the NHS saying I was close to someone with Omicron and offering a free test kit. I’ve only been to one spot this past week and there’s no cases reported there. I think I’ll just do my own test instead.

Just got a message saying I was close to someone with a positive omicron result. Seems dodgy to me. Tried clicking the link and it said ‘server not found’ before I even got anywhere. Pretty sure if I’d actually been near a case, the NHS Covid app would have pinged me first.
