Got three phone calls from them today, all threatening to arrest me unless I call them back. They claimed there was a warrant out for my arrest over tax evasion. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Totally a scam, but honestly it's quite funny to mess with them a bit before hanging up. Just drag the call out and waste as much of their time as you can, then set them straight or cut off. It's the best way to really annoy those pests.

I got a call from this number and left a message saying HMRC should give me a ring back. When I phoned them, they told me I had a few legal troubles and that the police were on their way to arrest me. Apparently, I owe them £3286. Felt really dodgy to me.

So, my sister got a ring from this number the other day, and some guy who said his name was David Miller started talking about some old tax debts from 2010 to 2019 - he claimed she owed like £4286. He even threw in an employer ID and a case number to try to sound legit. Then he asked how quickly she could get to her bank, which sounded super suspicious. She ended the call right then. I told her straight up it’s just a scam and to not bother with it.
