Got a call from someone saying they were from hmrc, saying they had a criminal probe on me and to press 1 to talk to an officer. I just ended the call straight away. Tried calling the number back and it just went to voicemail. Defiantly a scam, so I blocked it. I reckon I’ll let hmrc know about it since it’s quite alarming.

Got a message from this number around 2:40 in the morning. I don’t even own a PayPal account! The text said there was some suspicious activity on my account and asked me to get in touch if it wasn’t me. For a moment, I was terrified, thinking maybe my little granddaughter did something while playing games on my phone. After a while, I managed to calm down and remembered I’ve never signed up for PayPal. It really stressed me out, as an older person, making it hard to think clearly. Honestly, these scammers should be locked up permanently.
