Got a text supposedly from 'Paypal', saying a payment under the name Steven Jones was stopped. There was a link in the message that looked dodgy, probably meant to nick your login info. The funny thing is, I don’t even use PayPal!

On the 25th of August 2020 around 11:36pm, I got a message that’s identical to one I've seen from 07310 111519 - check the comments here for more. The text said something like “Alert: a card payment has been processed. If this wasn’t you, please go to (there’s a link to PayPal login 290) to lift any pending limits.” Spooky stuff!

On Tuesday 25th Aug 2020 around 11:36pm, I got a text just like the ones people mention here from 07310 111519. It said something along the lines of “Alert: a card payment was made. If you didn’t do this, click (there’s a PayPal login link) to lift pending restrictions.” Definitely looked dodgy to me.
