Me and my husband who live in West Yorkshire both got texts from strange numbers. Neither of us bothered clicking on the links or replying. I just deleted mine straight away - it showed up at 1:05 in the morning from +447310815474. My husband’s came from 07310111793. Definitely seemed fishy if you ask me.

Just got two texts from +447310111798 here in West Yorkshire, sayin there’s been a card payment on my account. The message told me to go to some link to stop any blocks if it’s not me. Didn’t click on anything or open the links though. Big thanks for the info you all share, I’ll definitely be checking my bank to be safe.

Yep, I got the same message. I rang my bank about it and explained everything. The person I spoke with said they’re aware of it. They just advised me to keep an eye on my account.

I just got a message like the one before, saying my card was used for a payment and to call them straight away if it wasn’t me. Honestly, I’m fuming about these people. What a bunch of muppets!

Got a message from 07310177091 saying a card payment went through, but I haven’t made any. They tell me to go to [#]user-id520[###] to clear some 'pending restrictions' or whatever. Seems dodgy to me, as there’s nothing showing up on my card. Definitely feels like a scam.

Got a message claiming money had been taken from my PayPal and that I needed to check it by clicking their link. Definitely sounded fishy to me. Never clicked any links and just ignored it. Felt like one of those scammy texts trying to steal info. Just watch out for stuff like that!

Got a weird alert that seemed fishy, looked like it was trying to get me to click a dodgy link. I reckon it was some phishing site, so best steer clear of that website altogether.
