Got a call from some bloke with an English name but sounded Indian, claiming to be from Microsoft saying my PC’s been throwing errors. I asked him where he was ringing from, and he said Victoria, London. I pointed out it was Monday 28th May and a bank holiday, but he insisted his place wasn’t a bank and was open. After I asked a couple more questions, he just ended the call. Quite the cheeky one!

Just got a ring from some bloke claiming my Windows had a problem, sounded Indian or something. I said if my computer ever messed up, my stepdad would handle it no worries. Trying to catch what he was on about was a pain though. After about five mins he ended the call, honestly, quite relieved he did.

Scam alert!! Got a call from some bloke with an accent saying there’s a problem with my PC or something. Could barely catch what he was saying, with all that noise in the background like a bunch of others doing the same scam. Ended the call straight away. What a cheeky tosspot!

A muppet rang me saying there’s a problem with my Windows PC - only thing is, I don’t even have one! I told him I wasn’t interested and cut the call. Then he called right back and started throwing all sorts of insults at me. Honestly, the only words I caught were the ones starting and finishing with F. What a daft bloke, probably thinks we’re gullible enough to fall for his nonsense.

Just ignore this call, total waste of your time and probably a scam. They claim to be calling from your internet company’s “main office” and say they need to fix an issue with your router, but it’s all nonsense.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from my internet company saying there was an issue with the connection. But the moment I asked which area they were referring to, they just ended the call.

Got a call from a number that claimed there was a 'recent issue impacting your internet speed'. Of course, it was a scam trying to fish for info. I asked the guy what company he was with and he just said 'your broadband provider'. When I asked for a name, he hazarded a guess at 'Virgin'. Bit suspect, right? I ended the call pretty quick since Virgin isn't my provider and I wasn’t about to give anything away. Better to be safe than sorry with these dodgy calls.

SCAM ALERT - Got a call saying they were from my broadband company, claiming my internet was slower than it should be. I asked them who exactly they were, and they said they worked for BT and handled everything. They never asked for any security verification before going on. I pretended to go along with it until they asked for the password to TeamViewer (which is an app that lets someone remotely access your PC - DON’T EVER GIVE THIS OUT). I told them I knew what they were up to and that I’d report them, then ended the call straight away.

Today I got a call from someone saying there was an issue with something I downloaded while browsing online. The odd part is, I don't even have a computer, so I told him that and just as I was explaining, he ended the call. Quite weird really!

I got a voicemail supposedly from HMRC saying there’s a case against me and they’ve issued a warrant for my arrest. It was one of those automated things saying press 1 to speak to an agent. Do they really expect us to fall for this? I just can’t get why phone companies with all their tech can’t block these calls - this number’s got hundreds of comments right here on this site. It’s mad!

This number keeps ringing me and they claim to be from computer tech support. A mate of mine actually picked up when they called him, and next thing you know, they ‘helped’ him with his computer but ended up putting a virus on it and his whole system got wiped clean. Proper dodgy if you ask me.
