I picked up the phone, but there was complete silence on the other end. Then, out of the blue, a robotic voice chimed in with a "thank you, goodbye!" I attempted to return the call, only to receive a message saying that calls aren’t being forwarded to that number. Quite strange!

Some bloke from India rang up claiming to be from my internet provider, asking if he could get remote access to my PC. Total scam, I reckon. Best thing is just to hang up and block the number, don’t bother with it at all.
