Got a text last night around 8.05pm but only noticed it this morning. It said they’d be coming to take my place off me at 1.30pm! Even though I’m not worried about anything, it did freak me out a bit. I called 101 today to tell them and they didn’t seem bothered at all, saying it was probably a scam. They also told me to keep an eye on the property at that time and if anyone actually shows up, to ring 999 straight away.

I got a message at like 2.22 in the morning saying my property was gonna be repossessed, and I freaked out cause I’m just renting and I was sure I’d paid all the rent on time. It really stressed me out, but thankfully I decided to look up the number first. Big thanks to everyone’s comments here helping me figure it out. I’m proper annoyed that anyone would try to pull a stunt like this.

Last night, my partner got a call and was convinced I’d somehow missed a mortgage payment, which led to a stressful 10 minutes and almost caused an argument! At first, I was quite hyped, thinking about lurking in the hedges ready to scare them off with a hammer.
