Got a call from someone saying they were forex traders, trying to sell me on the idea of big profits. Honestly, it's awful how people fall for stuff like this. They claimed to be based in Australia but had a strong Eastern European accent. When I looked them up on Google, their supposed location turned out to be somewhere in the UK. Total scammers, just nothing but lies!

Please make a note of their details and report them to Ofcom - What’s the name of the company? At what time did they contact you? What service are they offering? How did they obtain your number? Ofcom has previously penalised businesses for making nuisance calls. The regulatory body is known to impose hefty fines on those operating unlawfully. Just like every other time, I let her know that even if I wanted to invest online, I wouldn't trust someone ringing me out of the blue. Went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

They've called me from this number 4 times already. I'm living in Greece. Today, on 8/3/18, they rang me again. I picked up but nobody spoke. I'd really appreciate some info about this, as it's making me quite worried. Thanks a lot.

I kept getting calls to my work number from the same place, like multiple times in a day. Definitely felt like annoying spam.

I got a call earlier today from someone trying to get me to put money into the stock market. I told him the business wasn’t interested, but he said it was a personal pitch, not for the company. When I said no again, he asked why, and I just told him that was none of his concern. Then he asked if anyone else at the company might be interested, thinking they’d say yes. I said no and ended the call. The bloke spoke with a really strong accent, so I had trouble understanding a lot of what he was saying.

I got a call from some outfit saying they were based in London and pushing me to put money into the stock market. They claimed their name was Forex Grand. When I checked their site, ForexgrandI###], it listed two addresses: one in Bulgaria and another in the Marshall Islands. I asked them for their UK company registration number, but they couldn't give me one. I pointed out that without that, I wouldn't have any protection from the FSA (Financial Services Authority). The woman on the phone just brushed it off, saying it didn’t matter because they’re allowed to operate all over the world.

The person on the other end spoke with a strange accent, and I couldn't really catch their name. They did say a name I usually give out to block calls, so I'm pretty certain it was a spam caller.
