Earlier today around midday, I had a call from this number. A woman on the other end inquired if I had any knowledge about trading. Naturally, I was curious and asked her, "How did you come by my number?" She mentioned it had been referred to her from another department and then requested that I hold while she transferred me to someone else. Once I spoke to the next person, I posed the same question again. Her response was rather vague; she claimed that the numbers are generated at random. I explained that I simply don’t have the bandwidth for online trading, as I’m quite swamped with other commitments. She noted she would ring me again later on, and true to her word, she did call back around five in the evening.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "trade[###]" and that I’d signed up with them. When I asked how they got my number, they said I must have clicked on one of their website banners. Yeah, as if clicking a banner would just hand over your phone number like that. Seems pretty dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Received a call that purported to be from trade.com, insisting I had signed up with them. I inquired about how they obtained my number, and their excuse was that I must’ve clicked on one of their adverts at some point. Sadly for them, I’m not gullible enough to buy into the idea that clicking on some ads would divulge my phone number, a detail I hardly share. I firmly told them not to bother me again, and while they replied affirmatively, I’ve since blocked the number, so I guess I’ll never know if they heed my request.
