Nobody spoke or anything, but the calls came in on Friday, the 17th of November, one at 11:14 pm and another at 11:33 am lasting 8 seconds.

I saw it was a UK number but I’m here in the Netherlands, so I just let it ring out. Went ahead and blocked it too.

Earlier today around midday, I had a call from this number. A woman on the other end inquired if I had any knowledge about trading. Naturally, I was curious and asked her, "How did you come by my number?" She mentioned it had been referred to her from another department and then requested that I hold while she transferred me to someone else. Once I spoke to the next person, I posed the same question again. Her response was rather vague; she claimed that the numbers are generated at random. I explained that I simply don’t have the bandwidth for online trading, as I’m quite swamped with other commitments. She noted she would ring me again later on, and true to her word, she did call back around five in the evening.

Today around midday, I got a call from this number. A woman spoke to me and asked if I was interested in trading. I asked her how she had got my number. She said it came from another department and asked me to hold while she transferred me. I asked the person I was transferred to the same question. She claimed the numbers were created randomly. I told her I’m too busy for online trading. She said she'd ring me again later, and sure enough, she called me back about 5 in the evening.

Got a call from someone saying they were from "trade[###]" and that I’d signed up with them. When I asked how they got my number, they said I must have clicked on one of their website banners. Yeah, as if clicking a banner would just hand over your phone number like that. Seems pretty dodgy to me, probably a scam.

Somebody called me saying they were from trade.com and claimed I signed up with them. When I asked how they got my phone number, they insisted I must've clicked one of their ads online. Sorry, but I’m not daft enough to think a banner click would hand over my rarely shared number. I told them to stop calling me, they agreed, but who knows if they actually will since I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number anyway.
