I never pick up calls from numbers that aren’t saved in my contacts! If you don’t know who’s calling, just ignore it. It’s really that easy. If it’s something serious or a family member you haven’t heard from in ages, they’ll work out another way to get hold of you.

Got a call saying I had signed up for their service and needed to pay. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I never managed to catch the company’s name, but they call at least daily - twice already today. Last Friday, the woman on the phone got pretty pushy, insisting I explain why I wasn’t interested in trading. Like the others, she kept saying they've got all my info and that I signed up for an account. Honestly, I’ve stopped trying to be polite or reason with them now!

Alright, we need to figure out who leaked our info to these people. After I got my new number, I noticed a few places have my details: Just Eat (app), Hostinger (for my website), Indeed (for job hunting), Barclays (bank) and a few other job search sites. If you’ve noticed any other places where your info is registered, add them here. I’m thinking of reporting this to the new Data Protection Commissioner.

This number used to ring me constantly. One day I decided to pick up, let the bloke ask a few questions, then he kicked off with his sales spiel. That was my cue to hang up. They rang again the following day so I did the same thing, only this time I ended the call after a few minutes. When he called back again, I told him straight up I asked to be taken off their list, but they ignored me, so I was just gonna waste their time like they wasted mine. Got a load of swear words thrown at me, but I just chuckled. Haven’t heard from them since.

They keep ringing from loads of different phones. I’ve blocked like ten numbers already. They don’t swear, but they’re really pushy, saying I’m signed up on their site, which I definitely haven’t, and trying to get me to install some software on my computer for crypto mining or whatever. I can’t imagine anyone doing business with these lot, and it’s a mystery if that call centre is even worth the cash they get. No sane person would ever agree to this stuff. I just keep getting the calls and ignoring and blocking them.

Turns out Nova Trade isn’t some kind of s#x line like you might think with all the rude stuff they say. They told me they’d send proof that I actually signed up but I’m still waiting for that. Might just let the kids handle the phone next time.

They say they're from a company called Nova Trading. Never heard of them before, but they keep ringing me loads, like every couple of days. If you have an Android phone (6 or up), here’s a way to block them: Go to Settings - APPS - App settings - Call - Call blocking - Auto block mode (set it to Auto block numbers) - then go back and open Auto block list - hit the plus sign top right - add the number and set the option below to Exactly the same as - save it - and double check there’s a tick next to that number in the list. That should stop them messing you about!

How can I find out their actual address? If they’ve got phone numbers, they must be getting bills sent to somewhere. What address does BT put on the envelope when they post it? Maybe if we all showed up there and protested, they might stop operating! Even if they don’t, the attention alone could warn others getting harassed unfairly in their homes!

I received a rather pushy call from someone claiming to be from a financial services company. They were adamant that I had asked to be contacted, which I certainly hadn’t! The tone quickly turned a bit irritable when I expressed my disinterest in chatting with them. If memory serves me right, cold calling is against the law in many cases. Is there any way to raise this issue with the appropriate authorities?

This bloke was really pushy, called me three times! Then he goes, "Listen mate, you're already signed up with Nova Trade!" I told him straight up, "I'm not your mate and I never signed up with you." I asked, "How did you even get my number?" He just said, "We have all your info, your email and everything, you're registered." What sort of scam is this? Even if they're trying to do legit business, being this pushy won’t get them far. What exactly is Nova Trade anyway? How on earth do they have our private details?

This kind of behaviour feels like harassment, and honestly, it ought to be reported to OFCOM.

I got a call today from someone saying she’s a Financial Advisor tryin’ to offer advice on my investments. I told her I wasn’t interested and asked her to remove me from their list then hung up. Next thing, she calls back yelling all sorts of swear words at me, saying I shouldn’t hang up on her. I just ended the call. But then, for like 10 minutes, she kept ringing nonstop, shouting loads more abuse. I eventually blew a whistle down the phone at her and blocked the number. Definitely a scam, 100%!

Got a missed call from this number and then they rang me back about an hour later. I picked up and a woman claimed I’d signed up for some online trading scheme. I told her nicely I hadn’t and asked them to take my details off their list. Then she goes, ‘Can I just say something?’ I said alright, and she replied, ‘I don’t have time to chat with a daft cow like you.’ I’m usually quite calm, but that really set me off and I ended up swearing loads before she hung up!

This guy called claiming his name was Andy and he knew my full name! He told me I’d signed up for some "Extra Online Income" thing online. When I told him I hadn’t agreed to anything, he got really rude and kept insisting, shouting "You definitely did!" I ended the call quickly, but seriously, how do we put a stop to these calls? I’ve had five calls from these folks and hadn’t responded until tonight. The chap on the other end was adamant that I’d asked for more details from their website, which is utterly untrue. I kindly asked him to erase my information from their system and stop any further calls, as I have no interest whatsoever. To my utter astonishment, he began to raise his voice, insisting I couldn’t possibly claim I wasn’t interested. After that, I promptly ended the conversation, only for him to ring me again straight away!

Got a call from a rude lady saying I’d joined some financial advice plan (which I definitely haven’t). Told her I wasn’t interested and said no thanks before ending the call. She rang me back, all angry, claiming I’d signed up anyway. I asked her to take my info off their list, and she shouted "I CAN’T REMOVE YOUR DETAILS" then just hung up on me. This woman from the Philippines named Angela keeps hassling me about some trading stuff. Dunno why she won’t stop ringing. She’s called me like 9 bloody times! Every time she says her name, I just slam the phone down. I’ve even told her twice to stop, but she keeps going and rings back a few hours later. Got two rings from them today. First time I told em to ring me back later because I was up in the Scottish Highlands, driving with hands free, and the noise coming from the call centre was so loud I couldn’t understand a word the woman was saying. When they called again, there was only static on the line so I just ended the call. Haven’t heard from them since.

This number has rung me repeatedly all morning. I finally picked up on the last call. A woman claimed she was from NovaTrades, an internet financial service. I calmly asked her to take my info off their system, but then she suddenly became quite rude and argumentative, saying I’d signed up with some other site and that gave her the right to keep bothering me. Got a call from a woman asking for my 10 year old son. I asked why she needed to speak with him. She claimed he’d set up a trading account. I reminded her he’s only ten.
