According to them, they had a package for me and needed my mobile number in order to send me a pick up verification. However, I suspected that it might be a scam and decided to end the call. I even offered them the alternative of sending me the details by email, but they were insistent on obtaining my mobile number.

They said they were ringing from Berlin and kept babbling about needing some information, but I couldn’t make out half of what they were saying. They mentioned something about calling through the switchboard too. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

A chap with what sounded like an Indian accent called our home phone, claiming to be from a recruitment agency. Oddly enough, despite his initial reach-out, we never received any follow-up emails or calls thereafter. Quite peculiar, really!
