03458357922 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03458357922 👆 is reported as a frequently spoofed number linked to various bank fraud scams, with callers pretending to be from TSB, NatWest, Barclays, Halifax and other banks’ fraud departments. Many report receiving convincing calls about suspicious transactions or card issues, often outside normal hours, aiming to extract personal or banking details. Some scams involve links to bogus NHS Covid test payments and pressure to transfer money. While the number is also the genuine TSB fraud line, scammers commonly mimic it, making it difficult to discern legitimacy. Callers have been described as persistent, using urgent language and attempting to bypass usual security checks. Users advise extreme caution as this is associated with identity theft, fake transactions and phishing. Genuine concerns should always be verified independently by contacting the bank via official channels.

This morning, out of nowhere, my husband's card got blocked. When he rang the bank, they said it was fine and unlocked it for him. Later in the day, we got a text saying it was from the bank about card transactions, but it’s definitely a scam. Don’t respond to those messages - they’re just trying to trick you.

I've received calls from 03458357922, and I suspect it might be a scam. Best to steer clear and not pick up if it rings!

It was quite convincing, to be honest! I received a call from someone claiming to be from TSB's fraud department, saying there was a transaction on hold in my account and asking if it was me. They urged me to log into my mobile banking app. Thankfully, I decided to ring up the genuine fraud team straight away, and they assured me that TSB hadn't made any such call. Phew! I’m relieved they didn't manage to get hold of any of my cash!

Got a call claiming to be from TSB about some dodgy activity on my account. They were pretty pushy and sounded like it could be legit. I told them to bugger off and said I’d ring up TSB’s fraud department myself. Total scammer!

Super sneaky scam! Nearly fell for it and I’m usually quite careful. They called acting like they were from the Co-op bank’s fraud department. While still on the line, I called my bank direct to confirm there was no suspicious activity. Everything seemed really well done, like a proper Oscar-worthy act. Just a heads-up to stay sharp and watch out for this one!

Today, I got a call from this number and on my phone it showed up as TSB Fraud Team. The caller claimed there were some dodgy transactions on my account - £300 at Audi (the car dealership) and another £200 at Comet, plus a purchase by some bloke named Roy, something-or-other, which they said happened in Manchester. They wanted to check if it was me who made these charges, but I just told them I'd ring back later (which I have no intention of doing). After hanging up, I contacted my bank, who reassured me everything’s fine and confirmed the call was definitely a scam.

My hubby got a call on his mobile claiming to be from TSB. They said £4000 was paid to someplace called Harrodsburg and a code was sent to his phone. Luckily, he rang the proper TSB fraud team using our home phone and seen it was a trick. Watch out though, cos the number they used matched the real TSB fraud line!

about that NHS scam, i got warned it was dodgy so i decided to ring up TSB. The website listed 03458353844 for fraud issues, so i dialled it but the call just kept dropping after a few seconds. then i thought maybe that number itself was part of the scam trying to make cash, so i ended the call and looked up the number properly.

Just to add some info - I’m with TSB over here in Scotland. Seems like you guys can’t be sure if a number is really from the bank or not. So, that number 03458357922 is actually the official line for reporting lost cards or fraud. Of course, I can’t say if scammers might be using it to trick people somehow, and if that’s happening, it’s something the Police would have to deal with.

I got a call claiming to be from the TSB fraud department. Thing is, scammers can fake the number, making it look legit. If you reckon it might be real, best thing to do is hang up, wait for about 10 mins, then ring the number back yourself. Avoid just pressing any buttons to call back straight away.

Got a call from what said it was TSB's fraud team. I didn’t pick up but the automated message left sounded pretty legit for a scam. After hanging up I looked at my account and saw some charges I didn’t recognise. Then I got a text claiming to be from TSB too. It’s all so confusing nowadays that I’m just wary of everyone. I called the number I found on TSB’s official site and I’m now trying to sort it out with them. Is it a scam? Hard to tell these days!

Got a call claiming to be from TSB's fraud team. They gave me a number to ring back, but when I checked on Google it wasn't the official TSB number at all. Pretty clear it was a scam. Luckily I found this site before calling the fake number they gave me.

I got a call from someone claiming to be TSB. They asked if I made a recent transaction that wasn’t mine. We talked for a few minutes, then they sent me a one-time code to check the transaction. After I got the code, the call suddenly dropped.

Someone claiming to be from TSB's fraud team called me up about a suspicious payment. They wanted to check if it was me, but it clearly wasn’t. Then they started asking these yes or no questions, which was a bit odd but I kept going. Things got dodgy when they asked for my last account balance. I told them I’d just call TSB directly and speak with the fraud department myself. As soon as I said that, the line went dead. Definitely a scam, not TSB at all. Really worrying for anyone who might fall for it.

Got a call from 03458357922 claiming to be from some fraud dept. rang me at 9:40pm saying there was a “red flag” cause someone was trying to spend on my card. I asked why they’d call so late and they said it was urgent. Told them I’d prefer calls in the daytime and that I’d phone my bank first thing in the morning to sort it out properly. They just hung up without a word. Didn’t give them any personal or bank info, but definitely ringing my bank tomorrow. Watch out folks, this is a definite scam!

I got a voicemail from this number and when I called back, they asked if my name was Xi, press 1, and if not, press 2. My name was right so I pressed 1, but then it just took me right to Vodafone’s voicemail again. Feels a bit like harassment to me.

I’m pretty sure this was a total scam. I picked up my husband’s phone and they just went along with me, saying I was him, without actually checking with him. Now they’re acting like they’re from the bank, probably just trying to cover up the mess they made. Feels like they’re spoofing the bank’s phone number.

Heads up! Loads of scammers are faking bank numbers these days. If you get a call supposedly from your bank, listen carefully but don’t say or agree to anything. Then, politely hang up and wait until the call is properly ended. After that, ring your bank using the number on the back of your card to check if the call was legit. Stay safe!
