How come BT just lets this happen? It’s ridiculous that they don’t do anything about it.

This number has rung me up a couple of times claiming they’re from some fraud department. Luckily, after dealing with endless scam and sales calls every day, I’m super suspicious of anyone contacting me out of the blue. Every time I told them I wasn’t interested and to stop, they just hung up on me. It’s quite worrying because they don’t have the typical foreign accent you’d expect; they sound proper English and quite polished. Honestly, I reckon the authorities need to step in and sort this out. My advice: Never trust random calls like this!!!!!!

Just got a call from 03457788444. Watch out, there’s an extra 7 in the number. They started talking about my partner’s debit card details - weird since I don’t even have an account with NatWest. How do they have my phone but my partner’s banking info? I told them I don’t bank with NatWest and they ended the call straight away. Really suspicious stuff.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the NatWest fraud team. They told me to move all my money to another account to keep it safe - total scam. It sounded so convincing though. Just a heads up to watch out for this!

03457788444 These so-called Nat West people are proper scammers. They almost had me fooled. Like folks here have mentioned, that ‘Craig’ or whatever name he gave, is just a crook. Best thing is to just block the number and deal with your bank yourself. Don’t trust any messages claiming to be from the bank - even if they have links that look like official government sites. They're not to be trusted!

03457788444 Watch out for these scammers pretending to be from Nat West. They nearly fooled me too. The guy, calling himself 'Craig' or some other name, is just trying to scam you. Best thing to do is block the number and don't reply. If you get messages saying they're from the bank, do not click on any links, even if they say government sites. Always ring your bank yourself to check.

This was one sketchy call I got, some bloke pretending to be from NatWest's fraud team. Super believable at first, he said there'd been dodgy activity on my account and that a direct debit was arranged for £350 to some Ashley Alan Motors. He asked if I’d recently purchased a car, but when I checked, there’s no such business at all. Then he claimed they’d opened a new account with a different sort code and told me to move my remaining balance there using a fake name. Very slick tricksters, but I’m no mug. Watch out for these types!

Total scammers! They called pretending to be from the NatWest fraud team, telling me someone was trying to set up direct debits and loans using my sort code and account number. Then they said for my own safety, I’d need a new account and sort code, and to do that, I had to open my NatWest app and follow their steps to send them money. It didn’t sit right with me, so I refused. After I said no, they threatened that I’d be accused of fraud and my account would be shut down. I rang NatWest’s official fraud line straight after, and they confirmed it was a complete scam.

First, you might receive a message telling you that a NatWest advisor will be getting in touch about some suspicious activity on your account, using their helpline number 03457888444 or 0345 030 3605. After that, they'll call you from 0345 778 8444. They’ll already know your name and address, but don’t fall for it - this is a scam. The only info they seem to have is that, so don’t share anything else with them.

Got a ring from this number claiming to be from NatWest fraud team. They told me there was some dodgy stuff going on with my card, said it had been used via ApplePay in Aberdeen. Then they went on saying they’d set up a new account to protect my cash. Don’t fall for it - they’re just scammers trying to trick you into moving your money to them. I’ve reported it to NatWest’s fraud folks now, and I reckon the cops are on it too.

Got a phone call from some guy named Dave saying there was dodgy stuff going on with my bank accounts. He already had my sort code and account numbers, then asked for my debit card info. I almost gave it to him but then realised the number he rang from wasn’t right. He tried to nick £799.99 from me for some fancy clothes company or whatever. Pretty close call!

Got a call from a woman, sounded quite calm, claiming she was from Natwest’s fraud department. She told me there was some dodgy activity on my account and said she needed to sort it out asap. She was so convincing and explained everything in detail that I didn’t think twice, ended up losing £320 from my account. Total scam, avoid that number at all costs!
