Somebody calling himself Jordan Hedges got in touch, saying he was from my credit company’s fraud dept and mentioned some dodgy activity on my card. I stopped the call straight away and later phoned my bank to double check - turns out it was a total scam.

I got ripped off big time by this fraud gang that operates all over the country. If you happen to get calls from them, definitely get in touch with the police and file a report. I managed to record the scammers’ voices - there was a woman, and also a bloke pretending to be from the FCA. Maybe having those recordings could make a difference if they ever get arrested.

I dunno where else to share this but I’m putting a reward out for anyone who helps get these scammers, doing fake phishing calls all over the country, caught and locked up. They’re running some serious fraud schemes.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Nationwide’s fraud team, but I just ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

Had a call from a young lady saying she was with Nationwide, told me there were some dodgy transactions on my bank but I never saw any of them. She asked me to put AnyDesk on my computer, which was a red flag, and said she needed to check my crypto wallets. Pretty sure she was trying to siphon off cash from there and probably aimed for the bank accounts too. Definitely a risky scam to watch out for.

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be Barclays, but I don’t even have an account with them. This felt different from the usual call centre scams I get, guess they’re switching up their methods.

I'm quite hard of hearing, so I couldn't quite catch the name they gave. I asked if they could email me instead. I think I heard them say 'no', which made me realise it wasn't Nationwide calling. I've had them use my email properly for ages for official stuff.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Nationwide's Fraud Dept, but it was definitely a scammer. They sounded so real and tried to get info out of me, but I didn’t give them anything. How come Nationwide hasn’t taken that phone number down yet? People have been reporting it as a fraud call for over a year now. Really frustrating!

Today, I received a dodgy phone call from someone claiming to represent Nationwide. This individual insisted that there were some dubious activities on my bank account and said I needed to provide some personal information for the purpose of "confirming my identity." Let me tell you, it's a total scam! Everyone, stay vigilant out there!

This is definitely a con. I reached out to Nationwide to check and they confirmed it was a scam. They already had loads of details about a recent purchase I made - they even knew my name, address, and phone number. They tried to get me to open the app to approve some fake “refund” from Dior, which is ridiculous. But instead, the app was actually trying to trick me into sending money to someone named Louis. Don't fall for this, it's a total trap.

Got a call from someone saying they were from 'Nationwide', bloke called Henry. Seemed to know loads of stuff about me and said it was about fraud prevention. When I started asking questions, he got quite annoyed. I even rang Nationwide up while he was still on the line. Came really close to being tricked by it.

This number turned up on my phone and scared me a bit. I didn’t say a word or confirm who I was. Later I called my bank to ask if it was them, and they said 100% it’s a scam trying to steal info. So yeah, avoid giving them any info at all!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Nationwide, sounded like a young lady and was really persistent! She kept telling me there was some fraud on my account and was quite convincing when I asked a few questions. Luckily, my missus decided to google the number and found this site. Needless to say, she quickly ended the call.

Got a call from a lady using this number who claimed to be from my bank and said there was some dodgy activity on my account. When I told her I’d call back later, she got really pushy about the so-called issue, but then mentioned a totally different bank name. After that, she just cut the call. Watch out for this, I’ve had loads of scammy calls lately!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from RBS about some recent payments. I wasn’t convinced at all. They said they needed to run through some security questions, which just made me more wary. I told them I’d ring them back and mentioned I’m not even a customer of Royal Bank. Then they asked if I was certain about that and ended up hanging up on me.

Do NOT answer these calls. A woman claimed she was calling from Nationwide fraud team. I almost fell for it because I'd had a real call from Nationwide earlier about suspicious activity on my card. As soon as she started asking for details like the CCV, which I knew they shouldn't be asking for, I ended the call straight away and dialled Nationwide myself. Luckily, I stopped them from draining my account just in time.

They said they were from Nationwide but couldn’t even get my name right, so I knew straight away it was a scam. Also, my bank never calls saying it’s the “fraud team”; they always send a text first to check if I’ve made or approved any transactions, and then ask me to ring them back!
