Received a dodgy phone call earlier, inquiring whether I had processed a payment to Argos. Well, I can assure you I haven’t! I informed the chap it was a scam and that I’d be reporting it to the fraud squad at the local police. He promptly hung up on me.

I’d advise against engaging with this number. They called my mum, claiming to be from Nationwide, stating there had been some suspicious activity on her account. They requested personal information, but thankfully she didn’t divulge anything. Just steer clear of this contact!
