This was totally a scam from someone pretending to be my bank. They kept asking if I’d made any purchases on dodgy sites, even gave me the last four digits of my card to convince me. They kept insisting they were from the bank, but it was so obvious it was fake.

Some bloke called saying he was from Aqua and told me there was dodgy stuff going on with my account. Then he said he needed me to add my card to Apple Pay or something weird like that. He suggested I should unfreeze the card, get rid of the app, and remove my card from Apple Pay - sounds totally fishy to me. I rang Aqua straight away to let them know about it.

Someone rang up pretending to be from NatWest, asking if I recognised some transactions. They said my account had been used fraudulently. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I got a call from 0345 721 2011 saying they were from Barclaycard's fraud team. They never told me their name and asked if I recognised a certain transaction, then tried to find out which bank I used, but I refused to say. When I challenged them to prove they were from Barclaycard by asking my card balance, the line just went dead. I rang the actual Barclaycard fraud department afterwards and it turned out to be fake, so be careful with calls like this!

Got a call from 03457213142, some guy saying he was Clive Acton from Bank of Scotland’s fraud team. Once I challenged him, his accent suddenly switched and he started threatening me. I’ve reported it to the police now.
