Got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘Starling Bank’ about a strange charge linked to Booking.com. They wanted the first couple of numbers from my postcode and my email. Said they’ll cancel my card and send a new one out. Seemed pretty convincing. I double-checked via the Starling app and they said it was a scam. Ended up cancelling my cards and updating all my passwords just to be safe.
