+44 345 607 6838 - 31/01/2024 Got a call from this number claiming to be Sainsbury Bank. They said they knew my account had been closed and even tried stating the last five digits of my card. I told them I don’t share any details over the phone. I said I suspected it was a scam and asked them to just send me something in writing, as I’d already heard from Sainsbury Bank recently. Then I hung up. Looked up this number afterwards and I’m convinced it’s a scam too, so I’ve blocked it now.

Someone rang me saying they were from a property firm and wanted my opinion on the G4S takeover. It felt a bit dodgy, like they were fishing for info. When I checked the number later, it seemed like they’d spoofed it to look like an Equiniti contact. Pretty sneaky if you ask me.
