Really sneaky and risky caller claiming to be from HSBC fraud dept, the number was just one digit different. It’s often connected to 0345 1009090 or possibly an outdated local branch line. They even had some of my old card info, including one that was skimmed (someone with a card reader nearby), but I’d already updated it. Everything seemed pretty convincing, right down to the HSBC-style messages. Only a couple of tiny mistakes gave away that it was a scam, which makes it really easy to get tricked.

Got a call from Sun Life Financial, the ones from Canada, but they were reaching out here in the UK. Bit odd hearing from them this side of the pond.
